My Personal Philosophy On Life - 1780 Words

My philosophy on life is constantly changing because I am constantly growing as a young man, and it is constantly being shaped by my everyday experiences. I easily adapt and I’m eager to learn and improve. I consider it dangerous to be stubborn or stuck in one’s ways. I love being around people and fostering good, healthy relationships. Family is very important to me. I love my family with all my heart and would do anything for them, and I know they would do the same for me. I’m grateful for my health. I say that because I’m the only one out of my three siblings who doesn’t have any major health issues. Supporting my siblings and seeing what they go through has helped teach me gratitude, patience, and perseverance. Some of that teaching has translated into my love for sports, and despite being overweight, my ability to excel at and even dominate my opponents who are considered to be in better shape than me. When it comes to counseling, I had very li mited and strong views upon the subject before taking this course on different counseling theories. The insight and information on counseling learned in this class has be extremely useful in my position to counsel one day in my near future. Although my philosophy in life has not changed since the start of this class, I must say that most of the information gained in this course through our reading and lecture has helped shaped this.
